Most of you visiting know the story behind the band for those who don't you here is a brief summary on the background of Skid Row. You can find more background on the band on the links page. They became stars in the late 80's with their self titled debut album. In the mid 90's the band disappeared. Creative differences arose which eventually led to the end of the lineup as we knew it. Early in 2000 Skid Row returned to the scene minus lead vocalist Sebastian Bach and drummer Rob Affuso. They reemerged with a new lead vocalist, Johnny Solinger formerly of Solinger, and drummer Charlie Mills.
Charlie Mills had to step down as drummer in July, 2000 due to financial problems so that he could be there for his family. Phil Varone, from Saigon Kick, took over on drums. They toured with Kiss as well as Def Leppard and Poison and also had a club tour. In 2004 Phil Varone parted ways with the band & Dave Gara was named the new drummer. Since then he has also parted ways & the new drummer is Rob Hammersmith.
